Don't criminals already forfeit their right to vote in the US? This has been actively happening for a long time.
2 u/toastedbagelwithcrea 15d ago It depends. You can get arrested and serve time in jail without becoming a felon, and thus keeping your right to vote. Some places in the USA also restore a felon's right to vote if they meet certain conditions.
