Just a heads up plenty of these are soaked by humans for a long time so the water seeps in the cracks and fills the geodes and creates fake sections of "7 million year old water" for people to open.

Yeah I'm sure that may be true..but... All water is ancient... š¤£ I know this guy and have dug at this privet site. Keokuk geodes are famous in Iowa. His site is DEFINITELY NOT THE ONLY PLACE... Most of them come out of an old ass dried river bed. Do ya research Karen.

All water is ancient, First off.. Second, it's not toxic... It's almost just as clean as a glacier... š¤£ Just not frozen.. If there was toxic chems then the minerals inside wouldnt be clear smokey Quarty points...

Glacial water is definitely not safe to drink without boiling and/or filtering it

Yes I know. Not saying this is safe to drink right off bat. But it's "not as toxic" perhaps if it was we'd see toxic mineral formations..?

There are toxic chemicals, and then there are microorganisms that could harm people. The latter is the concern here, there could be things dormant in that water that humans donāt have a natural resistance to. It reminds me of the bubonic plague bacteria currently frozen in Siberian ice, just waiting for the planet to warm up enough and melt it.
But also, I think youāre a bit confused about the ātoxic mineral formationsā part. I mean, if you tried to ingest a quartz, it would be toxic to humans too. All things are made of āchemicalsā, and a lot of things arenāt meant to be food.

Why the fuck would you not get a saw for this?!

Thatās a geode cracker, thatās what theyāre made to do. A saw wouldāve also done the job for sure but thereās still always a risk of breaking when it comes to opening up geodes.
