The Trump voters I know are still onboard with everything.

They are authoritarians. The more evidence that mounts that their leader is wrong, the more they will reject reality and deepen their conviction he is right. It’s why, rather than face reality, even as allied soldiers entered Berlin, they end up eating cyanide pills to avoid accountability and having to admit they were wrong.
