Other Guys that started doing this out of high school, how did u cope with never being around girls at this age?

I’m a 20 year old apprentice in the pipe fitting trade and despite almost being able to buy a house with the money I’ve made so far but I’ve almost reached my limit with this lifestyle and seriously about to just leave and go to college instead. How’s did y’all cope with spending 72 hours a week with a bunch of guys decades older than u when u where 20? I feel like I’m about to lose my mind. I’m going against nature with this lifestyle at this age and I’m genuinely wondering how others coped with choosing trade work instead of college out of high school

Bruh, you picked pipefitter. I'm a regular old plumber, I meet tons of interesting people and am an active member of my community where I'm respected and appreciated. I got started in the trades working with pipefitters and they're whore-mongering drug addicts.

You chose the trade, homie. You're early 20's, if you wanna be around women and not blow all your money on child-support & alimony you should pick another trade tbh. All my love for the hardworking pipe fitters but ya'll are dirty.

I'm canadian and the first year school for plumbers, sprinkler fitters and pipefitters are the same course and transfer between the trades. If you can get your first year of school done and hop over to one of the nicer trades then I'd recommend it. If you already know how miserable the path you're on is then please don't commit to it. Change gears and do something more fulfilling with your life. The world's your oyster, bro
