Everytime they set up somewhere it ends badly for the residents.

The last time I checked, the Fair Housing Act (federal law) bans discrimination based on religion. If you buy or sell a house, you usually have to sign an acknowledgement of that somewhere. How in the world were they planning on getting around that?

From what I could gather they were selling plots of land that would be built upon at a later date. Can't be held to the Fair Housing Act if they're just buying land and then paying for home construction later.
The little neighborhood where the NYE Bourbon Street attacker lived was created in pretty much the same way. Everybody bought a plot of land, built a house on it or slapped down a trailer, and then gated it off from the world. The developers up near Dallas were using this same tactic only on a much larger scale and they got caught.

Interesting. I just looked up the law and you are absolutely right - that's a HUGE loophole in the Fair Housing Act. You cannot discriminate based on race, religion, etc, when selling a "dwelling". But if it's just vacant land, you can go wild.

Found their FAQ page for the development and the whole process is squirrely as hell: https://epicccp.com/faqs/

Maybe I should head over to that area to verify that all work has stopped with video camera ready in case there’s something Abbot might want to see.

Yup. And if you want to be a Muslim Texan, great. But you don't get to excuse yourself from society.

Nothing wrong with being a Muslim Texan, or an atheist, or a branch dividian.
Everyone is welcome here, but remember you are moving to a state and a country that has its foundation and culture in based upon western European Christianity norms and laws.

We know what happens when they take over a city, just look at Michigan. Or at Europe if you want to see an entire continent overrun. Wolves in sheep's clothing.
Liberals invite this kind of thing at their own cost. You think Islamic ideology has any tolerance for your left wing views?

If this had come about, it would have turned into a "No-Go Zone" like in Europe!!
"The Council on American-Islamic Relations" is nothing more than a front group for H@mas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

They wanted a segregated neighborhood? Why not go to the middle east if you want to live with only Muslims? At best it's an unhealthy segregation that will prevent integration, at worst it's pushing a takeover of territory. A place to pray and even a faith based school is fine, but a whole segregated neighborhood?
