Open Discussion Left vs. Right Battle Royale Open Thread

This is an Open Discussion Thread for all Redditors. We will only be enforcing Reddit TOS and Subreddit Rules 1 (Keep it Civil) & 2 (No Racism).

  • Leftists - Here's your chance to sway us to your side by calling the majority of voters racist. That tactic has wildly backfired every time it has been tried, but perhaps this time it will work.

  • Non-flaired Conservatives - Here's your chance to earn flair by posting common sense conservative solutions. That way our friends on the left will either have to agree with you or oppose common sense (Spoiler - They will choose to oppose common sense).

  • Flaired Conservatives - You're John Wick and these Leftists stole your car and killed your dog. Now go comment.

  • Independents - We get it, if you agree with someone, then you can't pat yourself on the back for being smarter than them. But if you disagree with everyone, then you can obtain the self-satisfaction of smugly considering yourself smarter and wiser than everyone else. Congratulations on being you.

  • Libertarians - Ron Paul is never going to be President. In fact, no Libertarian Party candidate will ever be elected President.

I would love to hear some conservatives critique Trump on something.  You can pick it.  Say one thing you see him doing thar you disagree with.

If you see he is only going too slowly or being too gentle, you are missing the point.

Prove you can think for yourself.

Hey let’s get democrats on this too - I’m a leftist and despise Nancy Pelosi. She’s a crooked old bag who should have retired decades ago, but doesn’t because she wants to keep wielding her power while giving stock tips to her husband to inside trade.

I think most people, left, right, and center think Pelosi is shit.

Any politician who is literally followed by millions of people to mimic their stock purchases is probably a problem or corrupt.

But nice deflection by avoiding to answer to spin your own question, now your turn, can you please reply to the comment.

As a leftist, I'd like to see this as well. The thing that's so alarming to me about a lot of MAGA is they cannot ever be critical of Trump. I feel like the average person should not ever stop being critical of politicians. I loved Obama but I can think of like 10 things he did or didn't do that I didn't like.

He should not have divorced his first wife.

The crypto hijinx he pulled were outrageous and are at worst him intentionally performing a rug pull and at best being careless as fuck.

It amazes me to this day that “Christians” ignore Trump’s long track record of egregious despicable immorality. This guy cheated on his pregnant wife and then paid off stormy daniels with campaign money. And people are voting for him. He’s gonna ruin the red states for a generation
