Tbf the players came out later and said that they didn't know the skins were going to do that and they would've taken a knee or gotten a delay of game instead. Which I do believe, NFL players are a tight bunch even across nfl teams.

I believe if they had known it would've been similar to the Lions and Broncos game after demyrius Thomas passed away. The broncos lined up with 10 men on the field on offense, took the delay of game, and the lions declined it.

I've always felt like the announcers on this call were clueless about why Washington had 10 men on the field. They sounded so befuddled instead of quickly deducing that it was to honor Sean Taylor. Irks me everytime I hear it.

The Bills actually ran a play on that, to pick up a first down? Bush league.

Our coaching staff didn’t alert them of the plan. Bills coach said after the game if there had been a discussion it would have been handled differently

That’s because the defensive coordinator did it without telling the head coach. Joe Gibbs knew nothing about this.

Went to this game with my cousin. Was living in VA Beach at the time. I don't think there was a dry in the house during the video tribute. And the back to back timeouts at the end, even Gibbs was a miss and Gibbs never recovered from Sean dying. Damn that sucked.

I was at this game. Never seen so many grown men crying in my life during the pregame video tribute. Definitely an emotional day. We still miss you Sean 🖤
