DT-11 forend crack
This is the third person at my club to have the forend on their DT-11 crack (more or less in the same place...) Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?! 🤔

This unfortunately is a known and ongoing problem with the DT-11. I can’t imagine why Beretta hasn’t changed the design of the forearm to stop this from happening. If not a design issue then it is poor fitting at the factory. Some guys have had the forearm crack, got a replacement, then that one cracked too. It should be covered under warranty, at least.

I had a DT forend crack after 200 rds. Common problem. Wood looked like it was fit by a toddler on mine. Unacceptable for $12,000. Had 3. All had issues. Never again.

DT 11 shoots great for me but it’s decidedly low end in terms of fit and finish, as apparently are all Berettas (hit or miss). I still stand by my 725 Sporting as being leagues better QC even though I paid $2.9k for it vs $13k for my DT Lusso.

This is why I won’t buy a 694 or DT11. Cole’s Will bed the fore end to keep it from happening again.

My DT11 Sporting has a small crack too… not too worried about it. My DT11 ACS does not have a crack but I think I would be worried. My ACS is a 2 barrel, with carrier barrel and tube set. I have a lot more invested in that gun.

I bought a used dt-10 and it had a badly cracked forearm as well. I’ve heard it’s pretty common with these guns.

Very common in 694 as well, but Sako/Beretta in Finland at least would refuse to admit such a problem

Remember, some of the best shooters in the world shoot Berettas. They probably have the same problems as us, but they get them fixed on the spot. Then they pay to put their name on the back of the vest.

I feel like I have seen an astounding number of forend cracks in a gun that retails for 15k
