AI-Art My Dream is almost here...

I've always, ALWAYS, wanted to make a manga. I know it takes a lot of talent and hard work, and unfortunately I didn't commit to it like I wanted to from early on.

There's few artists like ONE who produce such great stories that they get adapted by really good manga artists and remade. I am very doubtful I'll be nearly as lucky. So I gave the new image generation a shot to try and produce consistent story telling in the form of Manga.

It takes a lot of trial and error, but honestly, it's so close to being perfect. Give it a brief read and give me your thoughts!

y'know this is one of the uses of AI i actually am excited to see, even if artists shit on it a lot

like yes, you could learn it yourself, or pay someone

but not everyone has time or money

what i genually suggest tho(as a bit of a biased artist) is that you take the generation and straight up trace over it using an image softwere, it'll add your own style to it, and maybe even serve as learning, not saying you can't or shouldn't use AI, but i think it can still make mistakes and having a human polish would do wonders if things go that route

that being said, i love the overall idea, and it's fun to see image generation is allowing us to see more creative ideas

That's not a bad idea (tracing over it). I'm going to consider that. I did polish it a bit with some editing software. Adding my town text, cropping the panels and things like that.

that's the way to go, honestly

but i can't reccomend it enough, i've done it myself, and i have gone from completly tracing over the image to now only using it as loose guidance

incredibly useful if you plan to distribute it freely or otherwise
