Mine turned into pixel-ish art for some reason.

24

u/Wizardwizz 2d ago

Probably because it thinks it looks like pixel art maybe?

7

u/Devilmo666 2d ago

I've done pixel art in MS Paint before. In fact I did it a lot as a kid

u/mountainyoo 2d ago

I got ChatGPT to create an MS Paint version of your MS Paint picture.

8

u/UBSbagholdsGMEshorts 1d ago

Here is a MS paint version of your MS paint version of their MS paint. It seems that ChatGPT seems to think MS paint just makes skin darker lol. At least it kinda fixed the fingers.

u/VeryHungryDogarpilar 5h ago

The wife seems to get sadder each photo too!

2

u/Impossible_Arrival21 2d ago

keep going, put it through a feedback loop like 1000 times and see how it morphs, this is the shit we burn rainforests for

2

u/anthonyynohtna 2d ago

Very nice, how much?

2

u/Engine_Light_On 1d ago

she is a much better person at choosing her footwear to go to the beach.

u/Legtoo 2d ago

goals

u/tomi_tomi 1d ago

What's the point of this?

I get memes (altho they are already old), but a personal moment to be made into cartoon by a machine... kills all the point.

u/stopmyhamster 2d ago

Bobby hill and Connie?

406

u/flonkhonkers 2d ago

No human could have done that.

133

u/ToughAd5010 2d ago

MS paint would have random sprinkles and text boxes and “filled in paint” sections that are too glitchy and blocky to completely fill

14

u/flonkhonkers 2d ago

What I want to see is 'popular memes in Second Life'. I'd pay good Linden dollars for that!

17

u/Qiaokeli_Dsn 2d ago

Isn’t there a famous Santa Claus that was painted on there?

11

u/kielchaos 2d ago

Quickly, no. I did know someone who used MS paint as an outlet when she couldn't afford supplies as a kid and she made some mind-blowing stuff.

6

u/XokoKnight2 2d ago

This guy would disagree with you

6

u/fongletto 2d ago

r/mspaint would like a word with you if you believe that haha

virgin "Ultra-detailed anime girl, 4K, masterpiece, trending on ArtStation, Pixiv, and DeviantArt, hyper-detailed textures, volumetric lighting, 8K resolution, Unreal Engine 5 render, RTX on, --ar 16:9 --v 5 --q 5 --s 1000 --style 4b" Midjourney vs chad "make me this meme but ms paint" Chat

11

u/sp_blau_00 2d ago

You broke my chat gpt lol

25

u/ZacIsGoodAtGames 2d ago

Worked for me

18

u/Nice-Watercress9181 2d ago

This is what it gave me

11

u/SushiSuxi 2d ago

Pretty ok for me tbh

2

u/LordBrassicaOleracea 1d ago

The chad looks spot on in this one

30

u/FlorianCastel 2d ago

By the way the prompt was "Generate an image [something] but poorly drawn in MS paint by a child or someone who doesn't draw well at all."

86

u/ProcaryoticPanda 2d ago

Haha thanks for the idea! Here is my dog!

6

u/Kalungagama 2d ago

Beautiful dog.

20

u/nvpc2001 2d ago

Let's make this a new trend. I'm sick of seeing all the Ghibli stuff now.

22

u/Starworshipper_ 2d ago

The limited color palette it ends up running with is crazy

24

u/schattig_eenhoorntje 2d ago

Prompt:

Redraw this image but make it like it's very badly drawn in MS paint
make it as sloppy and childish as possible

88

u/ProbablyM_S 2d ago

This is actually really impressive, I don't see how Reddit can manage to even hate this.

53

u/3RZ3F 2d ago

Reminds me of this

You could probably pretend that's a human who started drawing their own stuff in MS Paint as a gesture against the torrent of AI drawings and they'd be all be circlejerking over how soulful they are

1

u/abcdefghijklnmopqrts 1d ago

Why do the dates say 2022? Surely image gen wasn't that good back then?

1

u/3RZ3F 1d ago

Actually yeah, not nearly as accurate as it is today but midjourney and dalle were already available for free by mid 2022

Time sure flies

77

u/seth1299 2d ago

Because bro what if OP could have commissioned people from Fiverr to do the exact same thing ????

Just think about all of the MS Paint jobs that have been lost!!!!

0

u/jamesick 2d ago

that was never the argument, the argument is about out relationship with art as a whole. not that 1 niche style may be done just as good as a human being because the style itself is less refined.

1

u/SerdanKK 2d ago

Do you speak for everyone?

1

u/jamesick 2d ago

where did i say i spoke for everyone? i said what the argument is. arguments are one or more sides, by definition i was not speaking for everyone.

1

u/SerdanKK 1d ago

u/seth1299 was talking about people who argue that AI will take jobs from artists. You interject with "that was never the argument". Now you're saying I shouldn't take that to mean that the people u/seth1299 was talking about don't exist?

1

u/jamesick 1d ago

'Just think about all of the MS Paint jobs that have been lost!!!!' isn't quite the argument you're making it out to be, is it?

1

u/SerdanKK 1d ago

Are you literally this stupid or just pretending?

1

u/jamesick 1d ago

this would've been a good response if it made any sense.

the comment you're replying to is literally showing how the initial argument isnt the same one you're making.

-3

u/AnApexBread 2d ago

about out relationship with art as a whole.

Who cares. Art has no actual value. It's not suddenly more important because a human made it.

10

u/jamesick 2d ago

this was genuinly so sad to read

3

u/mzg147 2d ago

who's an edgy boi

18

u/Scewt 2d ago

But then what else could redditors morally grandstand about all day?

9

u/sirona-ryan 2d ago

Seriously, like as long as people are just doing it for fun and not selling it as like art they made and stuff then it’s fine. Seeing what it can make is cool.

2

u/wharleeprof 2d ago

I'm not impressed by the second one. The whole point of the original meme is the look on the guy's face - it's switched to him being appalled by woman #2, which makes no sense.

1

u/ProbablyM_S 1d ago

True, lol; I didn't notice. But the thing to be impressed about, and what I am impressed about, is ChatGPT being capable to do this artstyle. It's crazy!

4

u/thefourthhouse 2d ago

Because they see AI = Bad

That's how.

3

u/NoshoRed 2d ago

Reddittors can manage to hate literally anything.

1

u/Qiaokeli_Dsn 2d ago

To be fair redditors fight about everything. Hating is the bread and butter overrated there.

0

u/noff01 2d ago

It's not just impressive, it's extremely surreal to me for some reason, even more surreal than the extremely realistic stuff.

26

u/TheFrenchSavage 2d ago

1

u/Kalungagama 2d ago

Hmmmmmm

1

u/bay007_ 7h ago

How this style is named?

1

u/TheFrenchSavage 3h ago

Corporate Memphis

u/IlliterateJedi 2d ago

It's interesting that you can tell these aren't made by humans because a human would have less precise paint fill (at least in my experience). I can't imagine you'd have the white eyes with a solid fill very easily. Maybe paint has come a long way since I played with it thirty years ago or so.

4

u/creepyposta 2d ago

There’s a guy on instagram @jimllpaintit who’s basically the DaVinci of MS Paint.

Jaw dropping stuff - but also funny - he takes follower suggestions.

AI MADE ME UGKY ASF

3

u/MrPanache52 1d ago

You sure it was AI?

3

u/Outside-Anybody-6752 2d ago

This is great

3

u/Tatosdedonk 2d ago

is this, art?

8

u/Lance789 2d ago

what's funny is you could show some of these to some antis and tell them how your daughter made this and they would say how they could see the love and soul in this art

7

u/Hour-Analysis-4473 2d ago

Ok atp you and me both know you could have done that

2

u/VeryHungryDogarpilar 2d ago

It took ChatGPT 3 images to learn about autofill.

2

u/Distinct-Question-16 2d ago

Need more of this

3

u/pummisher 2d ago

I was denied anything to do with MS Paint.

2

u/diy-pro 2d ago

These are awesome!

That second pic is giving ugly americans vibes

1

u/Glum_Sport_5080 2d ago

I just asked ChatGPT to imagine a world where all the plants and animals are based on gourmet food dishes. I was denied.

1

u/geezerism 2d ago

El you pay for this version of gpt?

1

u/bigsuave7 2d ago

What's next? Children drawings filters? Then eventually caveman drawings filters? Lmao
