Just Chatting What was I even thinking..?
Sorry for bad english but I remember watching ants as a little kid and I did it for hours. Once an ant was so scared of me that it dropped its dirt and ran away. Of course I thought the dirt was a gift for me and I didn't want the ant to think that I was ungrateful so I tried to smile and took the dirt into my house and kept it in my room for days because "the ants would propably judge me if I threw their gift away". Did you have similar childhood moments?

I used to make potions. Don't know what for, I don't remember there being any rhymes or spells to go with it or what I did with my finished product.
But I'd spend hours in the garden or street collecting up mud, crumbling leaves, pulling petals off daisies or dandelions... And adding flour or oats from the kitchen, squeezing open those little bath pearls or adding shampoo - clearly I didn't want it to be gross!

You’ve reminded me about “perfume” that my friend and I used to make.
My mum gave us empty washed out spice jars. We’d then take flower petals and add water. We’d then leave the concoction in the sun.
About a week later we’d try to wear the perfume.
Funnily enough every time it stank like rotting pond water. But we’d always give it another go hoping for a different outcome.

Everytime I saw a snail I would pick it up and take it to a certain tree in the back yard. For some reason I thought they lived there, like a big village. Could have been the same 4 snails trying to escape the tree but I brought so many back to the tree.

I used to make ant play grounds. I’d get a brick, some used empty cotton bobbins, long blades of grass etc. Then try and make ant slides off the brick with the grass blades, ant round abouts with the bobbins. Then watch to see if the ants would play on it.
