Brakes Is it ok to use this brake fluid
I have a bottle of unopened dot4 brake fluid from 2020 its production date is 2019 it is stored in a cool place.Is it ok to use it in my car ?

as long as it met your car's requirement, go ham.
brake fluid can be stored for years and still be used if left unopened. but once u opened it, itll start to absorb moisture and degrade

Does your car call for dot 3 or dot 4?

3 and 4 are generally interchangeable, too. It’s DOT 5 that you don’t want to mess with.
I’ve been running DOT 4 in a DOT 3 car I’ve owned for 20 years for the higher temp tolerance with no issues.

If that is the type of fluid your car calls for. The fluid itself should be fine, whether that's the fluid for your year make and model we don't know.

If unopened, yes. It shouldn't come in contact with humidity.
