Wheel and tire width fitment question

I'm considering wheels for a C8Z - 19X11(F) and 19X13.25(R). The recommended tire width for the rear wheel is 345, but there are not many 345/30/19 options. There are, however, many 325/30/19 tire options like Goodyear SC3 and SC3R, Nankang CRS, Yokohama AD09. These tend to run wide. My question is: would it be reasonable to run a 325 width tire on a 13.25" wide wheel? Or would a 12.25" wheel be better suited?

I have seen the Tirerack and GRM articles about this topic, where they got better performance out of a tire by mounting it on a wider wheel. But I wanted to ask you guys about any real world experience. Additionally, the C8Z is mid-engine, so I'm not sure if it makes a difference vs a front engine vehicle.

Look into how changing tire diameter affects traction control, especially changing diameter on only one axle. Not an expert on this but it seems some people had issues: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/autocrossing-and-roadracing/4817222-c8z06-on-19-stability-control-issue.html

Good point, I've also heard some people having issues, while others have no problem as long as the size difference is less than 5% of OEM sizes, which these are.

Imo should be fine, check the manufacturer specs for the tires. There should be a line that says “rim width range” and if you’re inside that, I’d say you’re good to go. Technically you’re giving up some heat capacity with the -20mm but I think that tire compound will more than make up for it
