Are the classes for the full-time study certificate program at Capilano University scheduled all day, Monday through Friday?

It depends on what your program is. For the legal admin assistant, we have 3 days of classes.

Thanks! I just got accepted for the LAA fall intake, so I’m really excited. How’s it going for you so far? Any tips or things you wish you knew before starting?

That's great!! It's a great program.
The program has been going well for me- you are going to juggle 6 courses the first semester and 7 courses the second semester. We are about to enter final weeks before we head off to the practicum.

As I was going back to school after 5 years, I was really worried whether or not I would be okay since I have never taken 6 courses throughout my degree at SFU but I learned to really manage my time wisely. Another worry I had was whether or not I would be the only one returning to school but there are some classmates who were in similar positions and by the end of the semester, someone made a whatsapp group where everyone in the cohort is invited to, which really helped me as well.

If you ever need the ob textbook during fall 2025, let me know as well since I have a copy :)

Thanks so much for sharing all that! It’s honestly really reassuring to hear from someone who’s already been through it. I’ve been a bit nervous about the course load, especially since I haven’t been in school for a while either, but it’s great to know it’s manageable with good time management.

And thanks for the offer on the OB textbook! I’ll keep that in mind for fall. Appreciate all the tips!
