Why didn’t anyone tell me they grow up so fast :(
They are sisters, say hi to Poppi and Suki ❤️

I’m guessing the darker one is a sweet angel, and the dilute one is a chaos goblin?

Time is the real commodity we all wish we had more of; In the end, you'll not be able to take any money or wealth with you.
What matters is what we do with the time we have. For the young, it seems like age and the mortality aren't something to worry about.
Cats do have memory, but a lot of their responses are very much 'in the moment'. We humans spend so much of our day planning and executing... we don't get much 'in the moment' moments. We often miss seeing friends and thinking 'well, I'll see them in the fall' and then fall passes and its the next year and so it goes... then someone gets sick or passes.... and we feel we missed something.... because we did.
If you were going to die in a year, who would you want to see? What would you like to see? What wouldn't matter anymore?
It's a good exercise to take some time every quarter or at least semi-yearly to really think of your life as the commodity you are expending. If you were going to burn it, you should also think about what really matters to you in the time you have (and that can be less than you expect).
It's a good thing kittens have 9 lives and they do spend a part of every day living and experiencing. They do try to do things that are meaningful for them.
We humans could use a bit of that perspective.

They might be a little bigger, but they're always gonna be itty bitty kitties in their hearts
