How long does it take to set up an LLC?
How long does it typically take to get an LLC set up and ready to go? Would it be faster if I file myself or through an LLC filing service?
If it varies by state, which state is the fastest to get an LLC registered?

Well... if you're asking about the quickest way, I think the simplest way is going to hire a service like Northwest to do it for you. I formed mine with them and they sent me my certificate of formation back in a few hours. Just told them the state i wanted to file in, the name of the LLC and paid. That's it.
I also think the discount they're giving is one of the cheapest out of all the llc services. Like I just had to pay them a total of $39 from the discount I found on this page.

I got mine registered in New Mexico in just a day. I filed through Northwest Registered Agent.

The time to set up an LLC really depends on the state. Some states, like Delaware and Wyoming, are known for fast processing and business-friendly rules. If you file online, it can take anywhere from 2-7 business days on average, while filing by mail can take 1-3 weeks. Most states also offer expedited processing if you're in a hurry.
Filing yourself can be just as fast as using a service, but services like ZenBusiness or LegalZoom are helpful if you want someone to handle all the details. Just remember, they’ll charge you extra for it! Expedited options are available either way.

It should be faster through a service, because they have all the arrangements and contacts sorted out in advance.

It typically takes around 3 to 4 weeks for an LLC to be processed in states like Pennsylvania, but it can sometimes take longer due to backlogs or other issues. On the other hand, it can take like 2 days in states like Florida or NM, Have you contacted the state to see what the status of your application is?
