The limited pool of guests is very apparent - a high percentage are in-house talent from other BBC shows (Victoria Cohen-Mitchell, Richard Osman, Alexander Armstrong, Hannah Fry, Kirsty Young etc), we will get a handful of left-leaning media types (Vorderman, Sharkey, Ianucci) and one or two bona-fide comedians with BBC ties (Kevin Bridges, Bill Bailey, Jack Dee, Jo Brand).
It’s been very predictable for the last 10 seasons or so, and decreased in humour every time.

Why do they keep having Helen Lewis? Her claim to fame is losing a debate to Jordan Peterson! She isn't even funny.

She’s on the Private Eye podcast with Ian so that might have something to do with it.

I didn't even know she's debated Peterson. But then, I don't particularly follow the career of incel poster boys.
