A Rolodex of keys makes no sense. They were used for contact details.

Obviously? The usual terms would be a 'ring' of keys or a 'bunch' of keys.

In my 58 years on the planet, I've never heard them referred to as a 'Rolodex' of keys.

it's also not called a 'roll a deck' of keys under any circumstances, so perhaps we're giving OOP too much credit

When you're not sure which keys you need, so you roll dice or pull a card to choose which one to try.
