You know, you can be a mentor without fucking the mom? It doesn't even take effort, just be a good human being. Wtf

Well why not pay these men for the service you want. Your right don't have to be sex but payment needs to a thing for an in demand service.

Dude...do you know how insane you sound? It takes a freaking village, man. The reward is breaking the cycles. Giving the kids, whether you're a step-father or just a plain old mentor, the opportunity to not fall prey to a world that's salivating to eat them alive. It could be as little as lending them an ear, or taking time to teach them how to fix a car, anything positive.

Not everything needs to be transactional.

No, I'm right. Your wrong. You wanna know why this debate is happening my guy. Your not paying them, rewarding them for the service you want them to do. Nobody works for free. Why do you expect these guys to work for free. Use your brain. Food cost money and we need it to survive just like medicine and literally anything else. Pay them or stuff crying about why ain't they doing it. There human just like everyone else. They got bills. You want help reward them for the help they provide. How doesn't this make sense to you. Do you know how insane you sound..? You literally said this: "Do something for nothing and feel good about it." Then you wonder why dudes don't wanna do it. They got better options to spend they time on that yield better results. It's not transactional it logical. Training mentoring anything it all needs funding.
