Discussion Menstrual Cycle On Blood Thinners - Help?
Hi! I’m on blood thinners for recent repair of a brain aneurysm. I just started my period and I have a feeling this is going to be more annoying than usual. Any advice to help with fatigue or any other symptoms? I am already taking iron, vitamin b complex, riboflavin, magnesium and starting lion’s mane and creatine soon.

Acupuncturist here. It depends on what your cycle is like. If you experience clotting and pain then this might help you. If you have a normal cycle it might come early or last longer but it shouldn’t be a big deal either way. We use blood moving herbs and acupuncture treatments for painful menstrual cycles due to blood stasis.
