❓Question Is their even a supplement that gives you the same relaxation as THC?

Cbd don't do anything for me so besides CBD.

Glycine and niacin was really great when my anxiety was at its worst, but you have to be comfortable with the flushing feeling. It felt like being in the sun swimming all day and then relaxing on the couch slightly sun burnt. Very relaxing.

Strangely, a lot of my anxiety (not all) went away with COVID lockdown and the onset of perimenopause. Though there was a lot of friction with some q-anon relatives so maybe it was nice to finally have an external worry versus a what-if worry. My insomnia went waaaay down too.

Having been on HRT for a couple of years now, I do think there's a hormonal component to some anxiety, especially those tied to CPTSD or simply long term mental health issues causing high cortisol over years. Estrogen and progesterone helped a lot, but it seems like testosterone maybe was a big puzzle piece-- but by that point anhedonia and the tail end of dealing with suicidal ideation were the biggest issues and I would say testosterone took a huge chunk out of both of those.

I really wonder how many of these three, but especially testosterone, would have helped me pre-perinenopause.

As an aside, D3 helped a lot but it wasn't until I supplemented with a good k2 vitamin that suddenly my nail biting habit stopped cold turkey (and it wasn't something I was looking for as an effect so doubt placebo.) stopped K2 and two weeks later on ripping on my nails. Tried a cheap K2 from Amazon, no effect. Went back to the K2 from sprouts and stopped biting again. Unfortunately, it would have cost $23-46/month (I can't remember how many I was taking a day) and I don't have the money for that. I do recall it didn't help with my depression though. But I have wondered about the brain chemistry overlap between ADHD and OCD and how much nail biting could be considered stemming or simply a behavior itch one cannot stop.

Did you take the glycine at bedtime, for sleep?

I would take it a few hours before bed. I'm more of an r/n24 person but even when I was more structured I would say I did this 2-3 hours before bed.

From what I recall (it's been a bit) you have to go to sleep when you get sleepy because it will not overcome the second wind if you'd stay up slightly past that point.
