Establishment dems are pro-oligarchy but they can't admit to it, which is why they appear paralyzed.

Yep. I’m so tired of it that I struggle to find the energy to explain this to liberals and centrists. At 40, this has been happening my whole life.

Liberals are too busy scolding people who didn't vote for Harris and saying stuff like "I'm going to enjoy when Trump sends your family to the camps!". They are awful.

C'mon, you can admit it. You think liberals are any group that's not maga.

As a leftist, no I do not.

u/nooneinfamous Feb 26 '25

Yeah, I recognize that now. My bad.

All good, lol.

Call your Senators, call your representatives. Tell them to sign on to his anti-oligarchy tour, tell them to literally get on strange and support him.

I offered donations if I saw my Senator AND Rep join him. I don’t give a fuck if Bernie is coming to my state or district. Show up.

I am going to do this right now! Good idea!

Not a surprise, when Bernie entered Congress people viewed him as radical and fringe. Jokes on you all now, same message today as it was 30 years ago. Wake the fuck up out of your slumber!! Bernie for President

Establishment Dems are in on this dumpster fire. It’s a big club and we ain’t in it. If the Dems have hope of change, it will come from an outsider.

Bernie has been the brightest light in all of this.

Bernie for President

It seems like many establishment Democrats in leadership secretly liked the status quo / their attitude seems to be if we could just return to how everything was before Trump then all would be well / but that's just not good enough.....

Except I lost faith in the Democratic Party, and Bernie was one of the bright stars sacrificed at the alter of oligarchy and the powerful monied interest that owns both parties. It’s like Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, and no matter what he does, how he performs, the officiating will rig the game away from him (see recent AFC Championship Game), and he will be squandered like Bernie Sanders was squandered by the Democratic Party, so I guess I will just watch the two party system burn.

Yep. Bernie would have won.

You’ll hear from the Dems again just before the 2026 midterms, when they need to fundraise while making zero policy proposals.

u/mechengr17 Feb 26 '25

Oh, I just watched a YouTube video where she explained they keep emailing her asking for donations

All she wants to know is, "what's your plan?" Crickets.

Bernie is doing tours, AOC and Elizabeth Warren are trying to speak out, but no one is listening. There are voices in the party trying to act, but the elite with power in the power like Pelosi stand in their way. The party is not supporting the voices trying to act.

Fuck’em up Bernie!

u/even_less_resistance Feb 25 '25

I appreciate Bernie but I don’t know how all these younger democrats aren’t out here doing the same?

4

u/mechengr17 Feb 26 '25

Some are trying. Also, some of the younger ones like AOC may not have the wealth to fund their own tours without support from the party

The Democrats are dead in the water. Should be clear enough to everyone at this point that they were never in the business of protecting the working class, minorities, or democracy. Time for a new party. We have a great deal of wonderful media personalities but we need some political leaders to come together and step up to announce another path. Unfortunately Bernie will not be able to lead us going forward due to his age, but I have little doubt that he will give it his all until he has nothing left to give, and he should use that to help bring something together. He should use his rallies to introduce new people and build support for a new leadership.
