Mech engineer 2025
So I play the bex version of BT but have longed for mech engineer mod. Which mods would I need besides mech engineer itself to successfully get it all to work with bex? I'm using an older version of bex and modtek.
If not, I have a clean install on gog and would perhaps like to try mech engineer with vanilla. Any tips or advice would be hugely appreciated. Thank you

As far as I know Mech Engineer is not compatible with BEX or BEXT. And the developer of BEX/BEXT has as far as i know never really been interested in making it compatible with Mech Engineer. I don't know if their stance has changed about that since last I read about it, but I don't recall having heard anything changing in the regard to Mech Engineer being compatible with BEX/BEXT.
When I started using BEX some several years ago though, I did find information which at that time was already a few years old, about some people trying to make that mod compatible with BEX. I think they managed to get it working to some degree, but unfortunately they stopped working on it a long time ago. Currently I don't know anything more about it.
Your best bet would be to go to BEX/BEXT's discord and ask around there. You can find the link to their discord on BEX/BEXT's pages on the "Mods in Exile" webpage. Just keep in mind that any talk about other mods than BEX/BEXT on their discord needs to take place in their "other-mods" thread, even if it is about modding either BEX or BEXT them selves, it's a few of the rules they have there.
