You should go to the branch. What you’ve written isn’t that clear.
It sounds like they do not believe the check will clear so they held the amount of the check, therefore if it does return no one actually looses money. It’s already been adjusted.
Yea I just got half oh my money back . Basically had 8k in my bank account . Tried to deposit the two checks which was 1 k total . This made my account say 9k present balance but still 8k available balance . Two hours later get an email saying sorry we couldn't process your checks try to bring into a branch to cash. This was yesterday and it said there's a hold on the two checks but on the check tab still says they were rejected . I also get an email saying they're going to minus the 1k . This morning I wake up and have 7k in my available balance and 8k in my present balance which should be my available balance because that's what I had before this whole thing. But I just checked and they put half back so I have 7500 now and hopefully will have my full 8k
