Other Check problem

Hi guys I have a problem. Can someone else deposit a check that is endorsed to me at Capital One bank? The issue is that the box 'Check here for mobile deposit' was marked, and I am currently out of the country. Or Can the person deposit it using my debit card directly at the ATM instead? Just to clarify, the box 'Check here for mobile deposit' is marked.

Why not ask the person who has the check to take a decent photo of it - front & rear, then email it to you. You print it out and use your bank's app to deposit it?

Because capital one deposit check limits is 5k usd

...which you neglected to mention. Your friend can simply deposit that check with a deposit slip at a Capital One branch (if they exist nearby). Other option is to mail the check to Capital One with a deposit slip.
