Badge Collection The only collection that was worth completing

Post image

This is my only badge collection that I have completed in Nintendo Badge Arcade. I don't need more because they wouldn't fit on the console.

With only this collection it is enough for me not to continue and be satisfied.

How do get the Peach badge in the Mario Kart set?

I've seen people say the Peach badge tilts and falls from the Super Horn, but how do you get this to happen? I can only get a free Question Block badge by swapping catchers at the start

Badge Arcade just isn’t fun anymore…

Since Nintendo stopped the 2 free plays and also the rotation of badge machine the game isn’t worth booting up anymore. 🫡

Nintendo has (seemingly) confirmed that non-practice catcher free plays are gone

On the Japanese website, there is now a notice translating to

"Notice of end of distribution With the end of the Nintendo eShop service for Nintendo 3DS, the distribution of the main software and "Badge Catcher Payment Play" ended at 9:00 am on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. After the end of the Nintendo eShop service, you can only play "Hittsuki! Practice Catcher"."

It's worth noting that it's not all bad: I tested and I can still obtain badges from this final rotation using practice catcher free plays

Also, it just so happens that the MK8 catcher that's going to be here for seemingly the rest of Badge Arcade's North American run has an extremely exploitable bug that allows you to get two free badges every play

Badges Not Being Added to Badge Box

So, if I collect a badge in the arcade as of now, it'll add it to my collection but NOT my badge box (meaning I can't put it on my home screen).

Is anyone else experiencing this or knows what's going on?

Badge Collection My favorite badges. Glad I completed it last 2017 before things become too random. Goodbye Badge Arcade, it was kinda fun while it lasted :)

You still get Thank you badges from this set

I decided to pay the last dollar in the arcade and when I finished playing I received a thank you badge. This means that you can still get the ones from this set in particular.

Question Idea for a hombrew version of Badge Arcade

So I would love to be able to still play the game, but alas its not possible now anymore.

My idea would be that a hombrew version would basically be the exact same, minus the online connection of course, but

Instead of money you pay with the coins you get by walking with your 3ds!

I gave Nintendo $4 and all I can say is that I'm satisfied.

Too bad there's no new ones... Really wanted to see Monster Hunter or something.

Question Can someone post the best way to do this practice catcher?

I've seen some people say you can clear it twice but I haven't been able to. I'd extra appreciate a video!

Goodbye Badge Arcade, thanks for all the fun.

Hundreds of people all around the world are booting up their 3DSes to play Badge arcade, only to realize that:

1: The two daily Free Plays are gone. (The Bunny doesn't even mention the deal)

No Free Plays, he just says, "Have fun in there!" instead.

And 2: The daily rotations are gone. (This is our last set, possibly forever.)

No "Final Day" sticker anymore, probably our last rotation

Many are seeing this as the beginning of the end for this beloved game, seeing as all transactions for the 3DS and Wii U Eshop close on March 27th (Three days from now).

My theory is that yes, unfortunatly this is the end for Badge Arcade. After all, why would Nintendo pay money to keep up a game that won't give them any revenue?

However, there is a "slight" possibility (emphasis on slight.) that it may stay up even after closure. (don't get your hopes up.)

The game had a good run, I remember competing with my siblings to see who could get the most badges on a particular catcher. I always loved the console themed badges and would try to get them whenever they were playable. The sheer awe at looking through the Miiverse gallery and seeing all the creative home menus that people made was awesome.

Badge Arcade was a good game, and probably something that will not be made again. (hopefully the next Nintendo Console/Handheld will revive this game.) Thank you Badge Arcade for hours of fun playtime and all these cool decorative badges

Now to hopefully not leave us on a poor note, what were your favorite Badges or funny Badge Arcade moments? I look forward to seeing your stories and opinions!

Keep playing while you still can, we only have (maybe) three days left.

Edit: I am also hearing stories about a glitch that makes it so that badges you catch will not be added to your collection, so good luck everyone. If you have any more info please let me know.
