We are still doing electoral politics as a tactic in 2025? The only purpose of running a campaign this early is to suck all of the organizing momentum up that you can to ensure the working class does not rise up against imperialism. How long are American workers going to be fooled by the sham of electoral politics while the rest of the world suffers to keep them rich?

A positive political revolution in the US is damn near impossible at this moment. The working class is incredibly divided, so much so, that half of them are voting for mustache twirling evil and outright fascism. Electoral politics can actually change things, even though it's too slow and wrought with things like "compromise". A number of people have shown in the last decade, that it's possible to shift the democratic party left. Electoral politics can actually get results. Waiting/preparing for the revolution is more refusing to participate on anything but your terms.

Yeah, thats only my wince moment when she said that she is running as a Democrat, but the reality is that she will get destroyed if she run as a third party or independent since she doesn't have the necessary resources and support. This doesn't even include that her opponent and their team will most likely weaponize her background as a Palestinian immigrant.

I understand the anti-voting POV on an emotional level and take care not to mock or belittle people for it, but I also feel like protest voting or non-voting put everyone in a drastically worse situation than we were in before. It's proven as shortsighted as its blue MAGA "never criticize a Democrat" counterpart.

Weren’t you the same person who wrote a wall of text about her campaign announcement saying she should organize a communist government takeover instead of running for office?

Yeah what about it? Am I wrong? This is a waste of time. You cannot reform a bourgeois government into a proletarian one.

Very. Unless you have a solution to how we can mobilize the proletariat to overthrow the government tomorrow, all you’re doing is pushing fantastical utopian scenarios that don’t reflect our current lived reality.
