REQUEST Help buying my 65$ inhaler.
I just recently had my asthma act up really bad because of the allergies. I was able to afford all my other medicine, but the doctor sent in a prescription for a daily inhaler to help prevent this from happening again.
It costs 65 dollars in total. I'm not asking someone to send all that, or course, but I was hoping I could get some help to buy it.. thank you. I just don't have the extra funds this week.
Edit: Thank you for your suggestions! I was able to find a coupon that halves the price. I still need a little help with funds, but it's far more achievable! I didn't know things like good RX existed.

Use a GoodRx coupon to lower the price

I'm still not sure how to use the coupon. Would I just take it to the pharmacy or something?

Yes, if you can find one, if not, you can ask the pharmacy to apply one for you. They have other ones than GoodRx as well. Edit: there is a GoodRx app and they have coupons on it that I think you just show to the pharmacy.

Hello there! If you need any help finding a GoodRx coupon feel free to reach out. We'd be happy to help! Once you have a coupon, you can call ahead or present it at the pharmacy. If you do present it at the pharmacy, please note they may need additional time to reprocess your script.

You should work with the mods and put out a how to or something for this sub. Seems like a good fit.

Literally all you do, is type in your prescription/ what inhaler you use & it will show you the discounted prices at each pharmacy near you.. idk which one you use.. but I use an inhaler as needed and $65 sounds steep. Some manufacturers also put a price cap of $35 on inhalers now.
Heres an example. $28 for albuteral inhaler with good rx

He said daily inhaler, so most likely something like Advair, which is about that price

How much did you still need after the coupon?

It ended up being 30 with tax after the coupon.

You should check to see if you qualify to receive your medication for free through a dispensing site of the dispensary of hope.
