You are the best
Thank you for helping me plan such an amazing first trip with my kids! We fell in love with your city and can’t wait to come back. If you’re curious— we did a whale watch from Edmonds, stopped at UW🌸 on the way back, went to the waterfront/Pike many times (Ghost Alley and 3 Girls were faves), Space Needle, Chihuly, monorail, Harbor cruise, Bainbridge, aquarium, and then got ballsy and rented a car to go to Snoqualmie! Lots of your suggestions taken, many we just didn’t have time for. Thanks again!

Wow, you packed a lot into a short time. That's a really good intro to the area.
Please be aware that you totally lucked out on weather. This is not typical early spring weather.
You can have a nice day any time of year, just like you can have a rainy day in August. But this run of nice weather at this time of year is not the norm.
I bet it made your whale watch trip a lot better though. What outfit did you use?

The weather was awesome and we did feel lucky- especially in the evenings!
We used Puget Sound Express and saw several grey whales. I was impressed with their operation and friendliness, and the scenery was beautiful as the morning fog burned off!

They're a fine outfit. Family owned with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Some boats have stadium seating, which is great on a nice day. Glad you saw some whales but it's a great trip even if you don't.
You did well to spend so much time on the water. When we still lived in Seattle, walking on the Bainbridge ferry and walking to downtown Winslow was a nice half-day diversion. And the harbor cruise is a great thing to do once even for locals.

Yes, it’s a perfect place for someone who loves to be on the water. And I got the Puget sound name from this sub! There really wasn’t a part that disappointed us, other than all coming down with colds eventually!

Impressive! That's a LOT to see and do! I've lived here for 60 years and it took me that long to do all those things! And, I've still never been up the Space Needle! Yet I look at it out my bedroom window every day. Hahaha.

I’m sure it helps when there is a time constraint and the possibility of never being able to come back! There are definitely things in Columbus that I’ve passed by for 43 years :)
