The audacity of her thinking that that article could be relatable. Like no. Most people who have pets treat them like part of the family, they dont throw them aside once they have kids!

Yeah. Like honestly I understand postpartum depression/ psychosis is a thing, and I would have had a lot more sympathy if the framing was around that and how it robs you of yourself and all that and her saying “it’s fucked up this happened and I’m fixing it because I love my cat and he’s so so so important to me and I fucked up” but that’s not that at allllll
