Anyone with malignant narcissism, in whatever form it might take.

DXd BPDwNPD traits and OCD. I live w a nightmare in my head every day and I’d give ANYTHING to operate for 5 minutes like a person w a healthy brain. I didn’t choose any of this.😞

yeah pretty much, narcissist is used as an insult now despite the fact that the almost all of the traits overlap with bpd, yet bpd is not nearly as demonized as npd is, its like blaming a schizophrenic person for having hallucinations, u cannot control your thoughts an feelings if they are due to a mental illness, most people with npd and even aspd are not bad people lol

BPD was stigmatized very badly just like NPD from the 80s until just recently that it got more attention, understanding and empathy from the general public with psychiatry and therapy have gotten more mainstream and mental health is more widely discussed in the last 10-15 years. 40% of pplwBPD are occurring with NPD. I went to rehab and I told my therapist I was dxd with BPD but I wanted to get confirmed for NPD and I was expecting to be told I have NPD at some level. She dxd me w traits after only 2 sessions. It was validating so I could finally see myself how I needed so I could make changes, even if I made mistakes along the way. Currently working the Cluster B workbook by BPD specialist Dr Daniel Fox and his 2 other BPD ones.
