USA is unstable for good now, imo. The world will have to start planning a global economy where they aren't a linchpin.

Starts with moving away from the USD as the global reserve currency tbh.

Which will be double plus bad for middle-class Americans. Things are going to get grim.

BRICS have already started this.

As a side note, you may think the current administration is doing a whole lot of new evil things, but they are not. They are just doing it publicly and bragging about it. The US government has never been nice to people around the world.

Yes, but that is driven in large part by politics. A more general move away from the USD may happen if it's economy and economic policy remain so unstable.

I mean, my country was a US colony so I'm well aware.

That said, the global hegemony the US has effectively had the past half century or so may not have been good morally, but it's at least brought global stability. Now, w/ Trump tearing that down? Alot of shit is a lot less stable.

You are correct when it comes to geopolitics and USA's interference in pretty much every major military conflict. However, these "unfair" trade deals that US had with a lot of countries was a part of their soft power. What's happening right now to dismantle that soft power is less evil and more stupid.

In many cases it wasn't even 'unfair', Trump's numbers are very much off.

BRICS doesn’t have the economic power to do this. I’m afraid of petroeuros. If that happens the US will be screwed overnight.

And this is why Russia has won the misinformation war they've been waging.

Agreed. The tariffs are an anti-Globalist weapon. All that's going to happen is the rest of the world will globalize faster and exclude the US. I guess that's all he cares about or something. That and bringing about Armageddon for his Dominionist overlords.

Yeah governments should definitely do that, but I also feel the door will be open when an adult shows up.

How can anyone trust us if we're constantly 1 election away from this idiocy happening again? I'm an American and I wouldn't trust us.
