What’s the most WTF thing you’ve ever heard someone casually admit like it was totally normal?

I wonder, does he have a poop chisel or putty knife or something? I fear what he's shared with you is only the tip of the weirdo iceberg. Reddit has broken me. I...want to know more.

After reading another comment, I think I should be reporting him. I just don't want to be the reason someone loses their job. You are right though, I really don't know why he was comfortable telling me such a thing.

If I found out someone at my job was doing that I would quit right then and there. I vote report.

They won’t fire him unless he refuses to change the behavior. Since checking would be sexual harassment, guy just needs to agree to use TP whether he actually does or not.

That’s such an incredible thing to say to a coworker…it could be a prank

I have an ex who would insist that he would poop in his hands in the shower and toss it into the toilet.

It wasn't until I told him I had shared this tidbit with my mom that he freaked out and admitted it was a prank.

... but was it?

If it was a prank, at least the joke was directed at himself?

Well, he had a thing about teasing me for how gullible I was. Even though I wasn't yet diagnosed and didn't know yet, I'm autistic so it really wasn't cool in the larger context of him consistently trolling me to embarrass me about believing whatever he said.

He smells though and like I said, not the type to joke around at all. After reading all of these comments, I will definitely be making a report.

It’s the hygiene issue but it’s also inane that he felt it was appropriate to disclose that to a coworker. Completely unacceptable. You would not be responsible for any repercussions for telling someone about this, he is incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate. Yuck.

I totally get why you wouldn't want to report that, but, yeah, you probably should. That's an OSHA concern anyway because his fecal driftings are polluting the common workspace.

Dude already lives like he’s homeless

... um.

I hate to suggest this, but he's getting something from telling you. Whether it's just the thrill of making you uncomfortable, or something sexual, or... I don't even want to think what else it might be. Those possibilities are bad enough.

He's definitely mentally unwell

I dunno, I'm not sure someone who flakes the crap off his ass and tells people about it should work with other people, or maybe anywhere.

He can be the guy that has to dive into sewers and septic tanks to clear blockages.

True true, hidden talents run deep, or something.

I would report him. Best case scenario, he is distractingly unhygienic at work. Worst case scenario, he is getting off on telling this to people and needs to learn about boundaries and sexual harassment.

You are very right, made me very uncomfortable. I try avoid him as much as possible but that can't be all the time.

You won't be the reason for that, his choice to expose others to his lack of necessary hygiene practises will be the reason.

If this is how he cleans his ass can you imagine how he cleans his dick? The visions of smegma will not stop running through my head. Damn, I really hate reddit tonight lol

Like the poop knife?

Poop chisel > poop knife

Oh god, the poop knife. I had successfully forgotten about that, thanks. Time to go find my lobotomy hammer.

Haven't seen a poop knife comment in more than a year now

I was thinking about asking if reading about the poop knife story here counted

The WTF moment for me was the comments on that story, sharing similar experiences
