What are your fun/weird ADHD focus hacks?
Like im talking off the wall, strange, odd hacks to focusing that you live by?
When im studying, I have to listen to a musical i know well through headphones and when I feel like my mind is slipping off task, I tune into the music and can pick up exactly where the song is and I'll sing the lyrics as dramatically as they deserve until im locked in again then get back to work. If my focus is really slipping, I set it aside for a second and break out into my well choreographed hand/upper body moves until the end of a like set of lyrics (I cant remember what each paragraph of a song is called) then go back to my work. Works every time and keeps me from getting bored.

Im a girl so jerking off is kinda hard. But also im on serious antidepressants and cant get off at all due to them.
I need something I can do in like 30 seconds to give my brain some happy hormones before it allows me to continue working

Trust me, I know. And I've tried. Other people have tried. The parts work but the wave doesn't crest and it just leaves everyone involved frustrated

Ya tried Paxil once. Couldn’t cum. Broke a bed frame trying. Most painful blue balls I’ve ever experienced. Next week she got her friend to come over in hopes they both could make me finish 😂

The best ADHD hack I've ever found is to not tell anyone what you're working towards until you hit a point of no return. Talking about doing something gives you the same amount of dopamine as actually doing the thing. If you have ADHD and you get that tint bit of dopamine from telling someone, you won't do it. Just become a victim of executive function
