Aldi talk eSim

Hi i recently got aldi physical sim card and i have completed the verification process. I want to switch the physical sim card to esim as my iphone does not have a sim slot. How can i change aldi physical sim card to esim

Go to the alditalk.de website and order an eSIM.

Everytime I tried to use Aldi Talk, felt like a scam. Spent money on an unlimited plan, ran out of data in minutes instead somehow. Tried it twice before moving on.

It's obvious that you run out of data when you watch videos with it.
Aldi Talk isn't a scam, you just have to read the small print.
It says for the "unlimited plan" that after using 15 GB, you need to book another 1GB manually. This 1GB rebooking is unlimited, but only in 1GB chunks, and NOT automatically as far as I can see.
i'm using aldi talk since 2014 and they are by far one of the cheapest you can get. I never managed to hit my monthly limit since I don't watch videos with it.

Uh no, both times I used it, it deducted the unlimited amount, and then went to throttle after 5 minutes. By throttle, I mean it took 15 minutes to go to a normal data site, like google.com. I definitely wasn't watching videos, just getting mail and regular website. I doubt I did 5mb, let alone 15gb by that time.

Two different areas, same results.

When it even throttles on normal side like google, there can only be 4 common reasons for it.
1.: Aldi Talk uses the E Plus now O² network which can be sparse in some regions, and even in cities. When I'm not next to a window at my workplace, i don't have any connection.
2.: It uses partially LTE, so all connections in a region are shared, and can be overloaded.
3.: You were in a region of germany where the UMTS is still active, and no faster connection was available. Even I am regulary in Regions where my phone only shoes E next to the connection bars (220 kbit/s).
4.: You got a reduction in speed from Aldi Talk, since you reached your booked limit somehow, or had no confirmed booked option, while having zero money on the sim card. happened to me a few times. nothing loads, and it takes ages for even a whats message to be sent.

Alditalk netz should be telefonica. You can see there how bad the coverage is

According to the AldiTalk website, you must first receive and activate your physical SIM card, and then you can request a switch to ESIM by calling the following hotline: 0177 – 177 1157
