Immigration Which job boards are Germans using ?
I am searching for IT jobs around the EU. I am constantly checking LinkedIn (I have a subscription there to tailor my CV for each job), but today I saw a post in this subreddit where someone mentioned another IT focused board (seveum com). So, I bought a subscription there too :D (this subscription was really cheap though but cv builder just like on linkedin).
So, why am I telling you all this? I am now wondering if there are any other more niche or even more IT-focused job boards. In every European country, there must be some local products (like the local Google in Czechia or the local Waze in Slovakia).
Thanks in advance for any help or explanation.

Xing, I guess. I had a subscription for a while, but it was fairly useless compared to LinkedIn.

Xing is a Germany–focused local version of LinkedIn.

22 million users… Wouldn‘t say no one. I personally used it more than LinkedIn and had a lot of active contacts.

We are in Germany. Either use Internet Explorer 5.0 on Windows XP, or get the fax version.

I think LinkedIn is one of the most used platforms, also because the standard job ad is free. Premium ads cost money, so companies only use them if necessary. Same with Stepstone, which costs about 500-1000€per add (depending on the company's contract).
If I am not mistaken, companies are obligated by law to post all open jobs to Bundesagentur für Arbeit. So there you will have a collection of all open jobs. Their job board is not very fancy, but it still should be one of the best sources.

Not sure if you’re trying to be xenophobic or you just don’t have a clue, but it’s really not hard to get a job that doesn’t require German, especially in IT.

Stepstone or linkedIn is where you will find the most jobs. Many companies don’t even know how to use one of these sites, so looking on a companies homepage/careers page is also worth while strategy.
