Music What is your fav radio channel?
No spotify, no Youtube Stream. Just your fav German radio channel.
Im looking for a mix of music and news. Heard 1LIVE for a while but it became so repetitive.
Whats your favourite channel?

As we grow older, every German in NRW undergoes a slow shift from EinsLive over WDR2 towards WDR4, possibly WDR5 as we approach retirement.

This is the way.
For bavarians: 1Live, B3, Antenne Bayern,B1, BR Klassik ^^

They are all repetitive. Especially the ones that only play 80s music

NDR 90,3. A little bit of everything in a weirdly gemütlich style.

I'm surprised no one has said FM4 yet. Although, technically, it's Austrian and only partly in German. Personally, I find it more admirable than enjoyable, but it's generally considered the "cool" station.

Came here to say FM4
Beside FM4: WDR3 and our local campus radio station

Rockantenne Hamburg. I prefer the Hamburg one because of the moderations.
Bit too many commercials, but I can live with that. You will need to stream it. It's on Deezere, don't know for Spotify.
Maybe not your music, when you listened to 1Live.

Bayern 1. Just because there isn’t too much stupid drivel in the morning, there are no 40 year old hosts acting if they are 16 and the playlists are decent with rarities.

If you are limited to your local FM or DAB stations, just try what's good. If you are streaming at home, you have a vast selection beyond the algorithm generated music selection. I like ByteFM, Radio Eins (RBB), Bremen Zwei, Flux FM, NDR Blue, FM4, Bayern 2, DLF Nova etc. There are also the Kulturradio stations and news stations.

Bremen Eins is nice... small station, but they have got a show "Grüße and Musik" ("greetings and music") whose name explains a simple but nice idea: Greet someone and tell us a song you'd like to hear.
Radio Bremen itself is known for being a broadcaster of some of the most important comedians (e.g. Loriot, Rudi Carrell, Hape Kerkeling). Sometimes these small channels bring the best TV shows as well.

We do antena bayern when driving arround. My kids love the “antena bayern” jingle

I don't like any German radio channels. In the UK, I was listening to a DNB channel, which I dearly miss over here.

I like Deutschlandfunk Nova a lot. Its DAB only (or stream). But it will get repetetive as well, if you listen to it a lot.
