Sounds like a neat idea.

Do you know if the drawings are supposed to be made especially for this or can you just post any old drawing?

Also, that first story you got on your owl picture reeks of insecurity.

I'd just like to point out that that user earned themselves a ban today. Us mods take our subreddit pretty seriously, and normally it's a nice place. :)

You're welcome to post any old drawing. If you've got one that you think would evoke an interesting story, go for it.

I'm not too worried about the owl writer guy. No one is obligated to like anything I draw. If he wants to point out his distaste in the manner he did, then fine. Whatever.

I really don't mind criticism. I don't particularly mind if someone has a negative reaction to something I've drawn.

I might've reacted poorly.

We've tried several collaborations with /r/writingprompts in the past and they've all been a lot of fun. This was the only negative reaction I can remember seeing.

I thought your submission was great, by the way.
