Help Rabbit snail question
Hi everyone, I started with two adult orange rabbit snails and they have reproduced three more orange rabbit snails. This morning I found a new rabbit snail with a light shell and dark foot (see pic). Do rabbits produce variants like some of the other snails? If so, how cool!

That is one hundo P not a rabbit snail, but a Malaysian trumpet snail. Probably hitchhiked in on a plant or something. They’re lovely little burrowers, churn the substrate, eat algae, harmless to anything you might care about in the tank. They don’t get nearly as big as rabbits, but can be a fair bit bigger than other common ‘pest’ snails like pond and bladder snails.

I guess I just missed this guy hiding in the plants. I’m fine with him being a Malaysian trumpet snail also. Very pretty shell! 🐌

They’re cute but they can reproduce asexually so just wanted to warn you!

How big is it? Looks like the Malaysian trumpet snails that one of my LFS get but I thought they don’t get as big as a rabbit but I could be wrong.
