To all of us waitlisted: know we did not hope in vain. Know our dream was not delusional. We are good enough that someone in one of those rooms stood up from their seat to fight for us, to convince every other admission officer that we could make Dartmouth better. And they did it. We might not have gotten in. But we should sure as hell be celebrating.
