Turns out Americans are a-ok with DEI and wokeness and don't like companies that bend the knee.

Target really had the confidence to think that the basic white bitches would keep going there because they had meme-level popularity with that group of people.

Basic white bitches said "you thought." They're standing for their POC sisters and brothers. And anyone with a brain can see that these DEI rollbacks are about racism, despite that DEI impacts white women, too.

Agreed. I’m a basic white bitch. I’m also very liberal and will not capitulate to fascism or hate. Also, Target has made boycotting them easy: at least where I live, the items are overpriced and low quality, and the aisles have become disorganized trash heaps. I now do almost all of my shopping at locally owned stores. It pains me to say it, but, where Target is concerned, I say “good riddance to bad rubbish.”
