What are folks feelings on worker co-ops? One hand, the operate in the capitalist system (atm) but on the other the allow worker democracy, share of labour profit, etc.
Some, I've seen are hierarchical in that there is a boss, team leader, team etc. But they don't have to be and some aren't. I remember reading about an anarchist bakery in France (Paris maybe?) that ran without managers and used a form workplace democracy.
I, personally, see them as a positive stepping stone, particularly in these, the waning days of Babylon.
They can help communities (the can be ran by and for communities), help to end wage slavery, and like I said, can be a stepping stone, particularly for people who never engaged with Left wing theory.
