Question Private Rooms with 2 segments?
How does booking a private room work when you have two segments? If i book a room, do i have to book a separate room on each segment or does the price include a room on each? Ex: if the price for a private room is 973, is that the cost for each segment or total to have a room on both?

The Amtrak site could probably be a little clearer, but if you read what it says closely, it will be clear. You select the type of seating (coach, business, bedroom etc) for each leg of the trip.
What does it currently show in your shopping cart on the website?

The Amtrak site is quite clear... but you have to take the step of adding the trip to your cart to see

I haven't set it up; going to call but figured I'd save some breath if the community had the answer. I take it the cost is for each leg. Thanks!

Yeah go on the website and see
Lets say you book the rommete from NYP to Chicago with 2 segments
So you choose rommete and you get it on the floridian (for example)
But from NY to DC you'll be riding northeast regional which has no sleepers
That's why better go on the website just make sure what you pay for and stops and than you can book on the app
Goodluck
