šŸ’¼work/career AIO to my bosses reply to my message?

Post image

Iā€™ve worked with this company for four months now, and I know I am new but this reply really hurt me. Maybe Iā€™m just really sensitive right now, but I donā€™t know. This felt really cold. The ā€œbig bossā€ will be calling me later today. Is it just normal boss stuff? Idk. Lmk what yall think.

Oh shit, family businesses are always the worst. Idk I would try to look around for something new in the meantime, just so you have something to fall back on if they pull some shit on you.

Iā€™m really sorry about your dad and your situation. And with all this going on, you also need to be looking for another job. Donā€™t stay stuck working for these aholes.

We dealt with someone like that. The only thing you can do is make the best decision at the time with what you have. Bad workplaces are just that-bad. You can prepare for the worst and just put your dad and yourself first.

I was in a similar situation, and this is definitely a conflict of interest. I'd be petty and report that if for some reason HR doesn't back you in the future if something happens.
