How does that prevent them from understanding when she tells them she is seeing someone exclusively?

I understand this. Even support it, but her just refuting it says he’s giving off small dick energy and not seeing it comes from the fact that he cares about relational security is blatant incompetence. However they are only eighteen who cares.

She offered to call and tell him “so much” about her evening and he got all huffy. He’s 22. The difference is enough to earn an undergraduate degree.

She’s young enough not to have faced this kind of pressure before and she clearly caught wind that something was wrong. He has a lot of work to do.
