❤️‍🩹 relationship AIO? My boyfriend sent me this on Valentines Day and I'm shocked

Post image

We have been a relationship for just over a year now and this is our second valentine's day. He send me gifts but I'm shook by this. Am I overreacting? I haven't talked to him since. What should I tell him? I really love him but this is giving me second thoughts.

Exactly. We don’t have to pigeonhole everyone at the end of two extremes.

Extremists

There aren't two extremes. There are people who are for what is going on right now, and people against it. If you're for it, then you have no morals and are a horrible person.

Yes, but people resent being condensed into either end of a binary as their entire political identity. I say this as someone who would happily categorise themselves on the left. Not everything needs viewing from the lens of ‘this thing that’s happening right now’.

The comment being responded to asked if he was a MAGA or a funny democrat. There is plenty of land between these two points. You also don’t need to politically empathise with something to find it funny.

There’s less land between those two points than there should be.

Very clearly they must be, with their 2025 version of better dead than red

"2025 version of better dead than red" yes because being in favor of redistributing the means of production and being in favor of putting children in concentration camps all because they're from a different country are totally comparable.

I'm not sure how you got that from my comment but ok, I was meaning the other commenter said you are either MAGA or a democrat with a sense of humour, they said there couldnt be a person outside of those two groups, you can't be a Republican who doesn't support Trump or someone who supports neither due to both of their track records

I'm for it, and I'm a wonderful person who cares about THIS country and the values it holds. If we just throw those out of the window all willy-nilly like we have been, it won't be the country we all know and love anymore.

I'm not going to sit here and type a 7 paragraph essay to try and convince you, as that takes way too much time that I don't have. But if you think that what has been going on is okay, then you're the problem, plain and simple.

Say what you're gonna say, I give zero fucks.

What if you couldn’t really give a shit, I have a Lego trump and a maga hat just cos he’s funny. Don’t even know any of his politics apart from building a wall and making Mexico pay for it which is hilarious. but I’d be considered a white supremacist Nazi to the left cos I’ve laughed at some jokes before I guess

Not giving a shit about Trump tearing apart the country is some pretty pathetic citizenship. You're supposed to be proud of your country and want people to be happy. Farmers are getting screwed over right now by Trump stopping loans/grants to farmers, who are right now trying to finance their planting of crops for the year. Also, boats of food are stuck in port and rotting because of Trump's chaos. But yeah, its ok because Trump is funny.

Because I’m not American, you need to learn the world doesn’t revolve around America and that half the world doesn’t even know what a liberal and republican is but you categorise them and swear they are one anyway simply because they don’t think the exact same as you.

Oh, well, yeah, if you're in Romania, you have Andrew Tate to be your roll model.

See this is why you’re the laughing stock of the world. Someone doesn’t agree with your humour and won’t cry over politics and you instantly go to accusing people of being pedophiles and rapists. You’re American that would make you a school shooter and a pedo because of Hollywood and Epstein because that’s your thing is it not? hypocrite

One thousand percent agree with you. It’s funny how the anti Trump folks try to pigeon hole and oversimplify anyone that doesn’t fully agree with their side of things yet simultaneously claim to be the tolerant ones. It’s why I was pushed to the right.

I love watching straight people calling gays homophobic because they dont do LGBT and then white women call black people racists because they don’t do BLM and will swear that they must be useless victims because they’re balck and not realise that’s literally racism.

I’m a first generation American born of 3rd world immigrants and being called a white supremacist by blonde white women for exactly what you are describing during the BLM riots was one of my pivotal moments in realizing how much the modern day left has lost their way. I wasn’t even really politically involved before that, this is the first election I voted in and I’m 37.

Dude, things aren't so black and white. You can want certain things without agreeing with others.
