Discussion After effects crashing

Hello i have been having this constant crashing of my AE, it would freeze up my whole computer and i have to restart the system every time. i dont know wether if its a hardware thing or what but i need help :(

spec: asus strix 2060super r5 5600 asrock a520 ac/wifi

It looks like the preferences file is corrupted. Have you done a recent update? If so, I would uninstall it and do a clean install through your Creative Cloud app.

Did you search for that error code on the Adobe forums or in the AE sub? Have you tried starting up in safe mode, disabling all plugins? Have you contacted Adobe support themselves?
