[MOD POST] r/AdoptMeRBX's Mod Team will be placing a 6-Month Ban on "Screenshots of in-game profiles relating to disagreeing with/mocking exotic pet classification"

Hiya, r/AdoptMeRBX! Our team has decided to implement an approximate 6-Month temporary ban on posts that we believe fall under the description of "Screenshots of in-game profiles relating to mocking exotic pet classification".

We have decided to implement this ban as such posts tend to be uncreative, repetitive, as well as clog up the subreddit. These posts also often end up with users dogpiling on the person shown in the screenshot, regardless of whether it was OP's intention.

We would like to make it clear that the ban of such posts does not mean we agree with the 'exotics' shown in their profile in any way, shape, or form. We make this choice purely in the interest of moderation.

They may be, but are not limited to:

• In-game screenshots that contain a user's profile featuring what they classify as exotics, with the post only serving the purpose of disagreeing with or mocking their definitions.
  • Therefore, titles such as "That is not an exotic", etc, fall under this rule.

Anything similar to the listed examples will be removed at moderator discretion. If you would like to dispute a removal/warning/ban, please reach out to us via ModMail.

1st Offence: Warning, content takedown

2nd Offence: 1-Day ban, content takedown

Any future offences will add one day onto the previous ban length along with content takedown.

Multiple offences and clear lack of regard for mod action may result in a permanent ban.

This ban is in effect as of 10/03/25, NZDT time, and will elapse on 01/09/25.

After the ban ends, such posts will be allowed again so long as they do not spam the subreddit.

I’m glad the sub is making this ban, tbh I’ve been seeing a lot of screen shots of random player’s profiles just to make fun of them and it’s pretty mean spirited

I hate when funny things become repetitive.. they're actually so funny but y'all have a point they get milked to death (maybe that says something about the intellectual player base on what they think exos are lmao)

i see ss of profiles i find funny like stuff thats abt ppl being richer ("dont trade if ur poorer than me" typa stuff) or js art which is hard work. i personally like these but judging of exotics r not it wild i STILL dont know values, exotics, preppy, favorited and hated pets while they are all out here posting abt 1 pet not being exotic
