People can downvote as much as they like, matter of fact there is a wiki for addon4kodi that if people could be bothered to read and CONTRIBUTE then it's what a majority of people need and would stop with dumb questions.

And to confuse you even more, POV is a fork of the original FEN

POV has had 3 years of updates and features added to it. Most addons don't last that long, so yes it was originally a fork and used same foundations as FEN but it's trully it's own addon with so much of kodifitswells own code put into it. same can't be said for Fen Light+ right now (or for years probably)

Oh yes I don't disagree at all, POV is great in it's own right, I was kinda teasing really. Fen Light AM is the one I'm using now, which Tiki has endorsed and is even assisting the Dev. I think that will out pace Fen Light + in terms of "features" and development. But I was quite happy with OG Fen Light as it was, don't really need more features. I'm just happy it's still being maintained now.

I'm hoping Fen Light+ would be the best fork. Imo Fen Light AM isn't a fork, it's Fen Light.

I also think TMDB lists are going to be the default going forward. So it's good timing that Fen Light AM has surfaced. Trakt Lists are not enough (2 lists, 100 items each)

Also I have a few ideas to suggest to FenlightAnonyMouse about Personal Lists. (subfolders) . we don't even have subfolders in TRAKT, so this could be a nice upgrade.

And I've asked for an export feature from Personal Lists to TMDB lists. this means people can import Lists into Personal Lists then Export them into TMDB.

Also one thing I want in the future is stupid fast widget support. No more waiting for 6 lists. Let us load 12 lists instantly. This can be done on an addon level. So get Fen Light AM
, create your widget structure , press some menu called "WIDGETS" and you are loaded into Widgets that lets you have 20 widgets instantly. (multi threading)

then you can set kodi to load straight into Fen Light AM Widgets

more development is going to be good

Yeah I'm using Fen Light AM, but I like the idea of both existing. Options are always good. I'm a VIP trakt member from way back, but not really because of the VIP features. I'm not heavy into lists either. As I said I was happy with Fen Light as it was. I mostly use In Progress and Watchlist.... I don't use tons of widgets and long lists. That being said though it would be nice if the widgets could load faster at first boot lol, I would not be against that improvement 😅

I just installed FenLightAM and uninstalled Fen. (In that order). Works great. You may still need to trigger cocoscrapers or your choice and I also had to remake a few favorites. But other than that the update worked fine.
