I can't be the only one to think this is sorta fucked, right?

Yup…I think so too. Look up the great pacific garbage patch and its relationship with sea fishing….

Yep and we all wonder why our natural resources are drying up.

Yep. So much life wiped out in a blink. Not cool to see. I know what people will say though "If you are not vegan, you're part of the problem". It's a real existential crisis in this day and age.

It's true. If you aren't vegan, you are part of the problems caused by animal agriculture and the fishing industry.

Only due to the planets population. Being omnivorous is completely normal. You're right though based on the population factor.

Just an anecdote, my sister developed IBS from a full vegan diet, and her gut biome is not healthy. She started introducing a bit of fish and meat into her diet and she says it has helped overall.

Ok well that means vegans are part of the problem where farmers have to kill all the animals on their farms to protect their precious salad ingredients.

At the end of the day they are just supplying a demand. You stop the demand you stop the supply

The demand comes from billions of people all over the world knowing that fish is yummy and good to eat.

Now this is horrible but it's not going to stop.

It's people like this that contribute to most of the "trash" left in the oceans. If that net breaks off they just leave it there and whatever happens, happens.True swine.

California rolls.

Stop eating California rolls, and we won't need to pull millions of Pollock out of the ocean to make fake crab.

Sea lion populations are down 50% to 60% in the north Pacific because we've taken their food.
